NANO Cleaners

How They Work

Our NANO Colloid type solution converts oils and greases to fat and fatty acids;  including breaking down sulfur based odors.  The colloidal micelles will continue to work by breaking down the hydrocarbons into fatty acids and exposing them to the resident bacteria.  This product encapsulates and will also suppress VOCs as it cleans (great for air quality).  Due to its unique formulation, TEK NANO Super Cleaners work equally well in hot or cold, fresh or salt water.  Many cleaning jobs which formerly required a special compound, can now be accomplished by a single product.  

What Are Colloids?

Colloids are electrically charged sub-microscopic particles called micelles.  The electrically charged particles repel each other in a ceaseless random movement, which works to break up grease and soil molecules.  They continually pass through other molecules in their path, breaking them apart and disrupting molecular bonding of organic compounds.  

A colloid in a liquid solution measures 0.000,000,01 centimeters (NANO) and cannot be seen with the most powerful microscopes.  This product contains a homogenous blend of colloids, sterilants, bacteriostatics, sequesterants, chelates, and hyperwetting agents that by the unique process of formulation an concentration becomes hyper active water or a Super NANO Cleaner....

 

How our Super NANO Cleaners Work! 
Solid soil particles are attracted to colloids, by what might be described as a magnetic force field.  When the attractions of the colloids become greater than the force holding the solid particles together, or to a surface, they are dispersed into individual particles that do not have the ability to redeposit. 
So when our colloids penetrate into dirt, oils, and other soils, they break it up into billions of individual particles, that constantly repel each other, making it impossible to recombine or redeposit on a surface.  Its colloidal hyper-action keeps on working as long as there is even a microscopic amount of water present.   The power of the colloid in cleaning compounds is amazing in the extremely wide range of jobs it will do, without the undesirable side affects of other cleaners.

What are NANO Ceramic Coatings

Nano Ceramic coating at its basic level is an inorganic, nonmetallic solid material comprising metal, nonmetal or metalloid atoms primarily held in ionic and covalent bonds. The crystallinity of ceramic materials can range from highly oriented to semi-crystalline and often completely amorphous as in the case of glass. With such a large range of possible options for the composition and structure of a ceramic, the subject is vast.

The earliest ceramics were made of clay, either used by itself or mixed with other materials like silica and then hardened or sintered, by fire. Later ceramics were glazed and fired to create smooth, colored surfaces, with decreasing porosity through the use of glassy, amorphous ceramic coatings on top of the crystalline ceramic substrates.

In the 20th century, new ceramic materials were developed for use in advanced engineering applications, such as semiconductors.

These materials are often referred to as “advanced ceramics” and may be composed of silicon carbide, tungsten carbide, chrome oxide, titanium dioxide, alumina-titania oxide, alumina oxide, zirconium oxide, magnesium zirconium oxide and others.

Our NANO Ceramic Coatings

Our coatings are largely composed of silicon dioxide, with a less toxic delivery agent allowing our product to be applied with easy and leaving behind a glass/ceramic coating.

 

Our coatings are resistant to most solvents and will be unaffected by a wide range in pH.  Meaning that UV Light, oils, acid, or any toxin's can't penetrate the coating keeping a like new finish for years. 

 

Hydrophobicity and Oleophobicity are achieved with our chemical make up. To achieve a Hydrophobic surface, water's contact angle is in the 105o-107o range. Our coatings achieve this high degree of water repellent through a chemical reaction that takes place during the curing phase. As the solvent dries, highly non-polar molecules align themselves and form the coating’s surface. Below this layer, the bulk of the coating polymerizes into an inert silica-based structure. At the substrate surface the polymer chemically bonds to hydroxyl groups on the substrate. The advantage of this approach is that a high degree of adhesion and abrasion resistance is achieved.This means water, dirt, oil, grim can not stick to its surface.  Like a wax or a glaze, our Nano Ceramic Coatings now have a silky feel on the surface. We are the only true Ceramic Coating to offer such a finish.  

Our Nano Ceramic Coatings are a revolutionary coating technology that offers many of the benefits of “advanced ceramics” but does not require a high cost, multi-step process that includes “firing.”  It is applied like a wax with a product pad and leveled using a micro fiber cloth.

The required thickness of the coating will depend on the application and the desired result. Generally, the coating thickness with 1 – 4 microns (μ.) Traditional coatings are typically applied 50 microns or greater.
